Tiama heartwood is pink-brown to uniformly red, discolouring to dark red-brown. The 100 mm thick sapwood is grey-white to light pink, sometimes with a transitional zone with the heartwood.

 Density

  • (520)-550-560-570-(650) kg/m3 at 12% moisture content
  • Fresh 800-900 kg/m3
